My brother has been visiting our family doctor for the last 2 years for high blood pressure. Are there any lifestyle changes that he can make to lower his blood pressure?

Yes of course you can. The same lifestyle changes can be made that you do to prevent high blood pressure altogether. Little little things like following healthy eating habits that include fruits, vegetables, fat-free and low-fat milk products & whole grains. Cut down on salt and sodium, lose weight if you are on the heavier side of the cal. Be physically active for at least 2 and one-half hours a week. Limit alcohol intake .Quit smoking, or don't start smoking. Learn to manage. If all fails, you need to visit your doctor. www.mediangels.com for one has 24 x7 doctors to provide you with more such tips and of course they are experts in their field unlike an amateur me.
