I have a major problem with staying committed to one singular thing, especially school.
Long story short, I am 24 years old, going on 25 and I can keep a decent job because the job constantly has new things going on but it is extremely hard for me to stay committed in school. I don't consider myself lazy but I do find it hard to stay on one task for long.
So now, essentially I have a 1.86 GPA which half of the classes I have A's in and the other half I either withdrawed or dropped out.
There is tuition remission where I work at but I am not sure if I can actually get the degree at the school now due to my academic performance.
So, my questions may be all over the place here but I will try and break them up:
Academic Questions:
- What is the best route for school? If I can't get the degree at the school that I get tuition remission at do I leave and pay extra at another place?
- If I leave, do I try for a degree program somewhere else or do I take a non-degree route and transfer?
Personal Questions:
- Has anyone experienced a problem like this (either first-hand or through someone else)?
- What have I not looked at in my life that could be causing this problem?
Thank you for all of your help,
Regards,
Chris
