Full Version: Husband Addicted To Casino Machines
Family Forums > Family Life And Health Forums > Addiction Recovery Support
My husband has always been the main earner in our family and I have always looked after the children and the house. He has always taken care of the money, he has made sure we were always well clothed and well looked after. About six months ago he broke down on me and confessed he has got us into debt with his gambling addiction. I new he had the odd flutter on the casino machines in the betting shops but I didnít realise he had got addicted. He had a few big wins in the beginning and that is how I got my new bathroom and that was enough to send him over the edge and get the bug for it. We are now deep in debt and I donít know what to do he has filled up four credit cards, we have an over draft and a loan.
Did you think of debt consolidation? Debt settlement? Or any other debt elimination methods? Try to get some information about debt elimination such as how to make it legally, in a short time, and without suffering.

The best way is to:
- Lessen your spending habits.
- Try to pay off the lowest interest rate loan first, then the biggest.
- Gain some extra money from part-time job.
- Never use credit cards, use cash.
- And so on...
